Newstead Equestrian Center is a full care boarding facility, open to all horse owners looking for quality full care horse boarding. Boarding includes grain twice a day and hay three times daily plus at night check, daily turnout (weather permitting), and daily stall cleaning.

Boarders have priority access to our indoor and outdoor riding arenas and all riding equipment. We do allow boarders to take lessons from off farm trainers with the proper insurance.

The Stable Manager/Instructor, Christine Ziemer, who resides on the premises, has previously managed a 30 stall facility. She instructs her students in English riding lessons, has experience planning and running summer camps, and oversees all horse shows for the Center.

There is a well maintained 1.5 mile grass track that runs the circumference of Maple Row Farm, an outside hunt course, an enclosed sand track ring, a grass dressage ring and a fully enclosed and lighted 80' x 160' indoor arena.

Maple Row Farm provides the only equine ambulance service in Western New York and is able to transport your horse standing or recumbent with video surveillance. Pamela Mobius Armstrong, LVT, is certified in Technical Large Animal Rescue and operates the ambulance for horses service as Equine Emergency Rescue Services, Inc.

The 52,000 sq. ft. arena is located in the northeast corner of The Fairgrounds, just behind the grandstand and is adjacent to the existing livestock facilities.

The building features a 125’ x 225’ show ring.This new facility allows the Erie County Agricultural Society to host year round livestock as well as equine shows and sales.
